Each project I work on is a little different, and naturally people have questions about how things work, what to expect, or where to even begin. This FAQ brings together the things I’m asked most often – from timelines and file types to how we’ll work together and what happens after your design is complete.
My aim is always to make the process feel clear, collaborative, and enjoyable, whether you’re an established brand or exploring wallpaper or fabric design for the very first time. If there’s anything you’re wondering that isn’t covered here, just get in touch. I’m always happy to chat through ideas or help point you in the right direction.
I specialise in designing wallpapers, fabrics, and decorative prints, offering everything from concept development and refinement to repeat building, colour work, and production-ready file preparation. I also provide white-label design support, colour separations, design consulting, and technical guidance for anyone bringing a new idea to life.

Absolutely. I work with clients at all levels – from complete beginners to established brands. Whether you already have a clear vision or you’re still figuring things out, I’ll guide you through each step and make the process feel manageable and enjoyable.
Yes. I regularly collaborate with interior designers, studios, and creative teams to support larger projects and technical workflows. I can work comfortably within multi-disciplinary teams.
A clear brief is ideal, anything from notes and measurements to reference images, sketches, and inspiration boards. The more information you can share, the better. If you’re unsure where to begin, we can start with a call to walk through your ideas and shape the brief together.
Timelines vary depending on complexity, but most projects take 2–3 weeks from receiving the brief. More intricate or multi-design collections may take a little longer, and I’ll always advise you upfront so there are no surprises.
Yes. Discovery calls are available if you’d like to talk through your project before committing. It’s a great way to explore possibilities, clarify the brief, and make sure I’m the right fit.
I adapt to whatever style of communication you prefer. Some clients like regular updates, others prefer a hands-off approach, I’m flexible. The aim is always to keep the process smooth, clear, and stress-free.
Often, yes. One of the benefits of freelancing is being able to adjust my schedule to meet urgent deadlines when needed. If you have a time-sensitive project, just let me know as early as possible.
My quotes usually include 3–4 rounds of revisions. If a project ever requires more, I’ll let you know well in advance and outline any additional costs. Communication is always open and transparent, and I’ll guide you through what’s possible within your brief.
Either. I can work directly with your chosen manufacturer, prepare and hand over production-ready files for you to manage, or guide you step-by-step if you’re new to wallpaper or fabric printing.
I provide files in whichever format best suits your manufacturer – including Photoshop, Illustrator, TIFF, PDF, and other industry-standard options. AVA files are available where appropriate. Final files are delivered digitally via secure download or shared folders.
Yes. I often create visualisations to help clients see how their designs will look in real spaces. This can support decision-making, presentations, or product launches. Find out more about visualisations in this post Wallpaper Mockup Ideas: How to Present Your Designs with Impact.
Yes. I can offer recommendations based on experience, explain the pros and cons of different materials, and guide you toward options that suit the purpose and mood of your design.
Yes, typically for one year. If you’d prefer they’re deleted sooner, just let me know. Before removing them, I’ll get in touch to make sure you have a safe copy.
I quote each project individually based on the brief, complexity, and required deliverables. If the brief changes, I’ll update the quote in advance and talk you through what’s needed. All pricing is clear, open, and tailored to your needs.
Yes. I’m happy to discuss your budget and find an approach that works, whether that’s adjusting the scope, streamlining deliverables, or breaking the project into stages.
Once the project is fully paid for, all rights transfer to you. I don’t retain ownership of commissioned work. This is clearly outlined in the design contract you receive at the start of the project.
Yes – all commissioned designs are exclusive to you. I also offer white-label services if you’d like my technical or creative work to sit seamlessly within your own brand.
Yes. Once we work together, you essentially gain a creative partner for life. I’m always here if you need further advice, technical guidance, or help developing new ideas in the future.
