Case Study: White Label Design with Scents and Serenity (Updated 2025)

This case study shares how I partnered with home fragrance brand Scents and Serenity. Together we developed elegant reed diffuser packaging and a white label Christmas collection. It's a behind-the-scenes look at how thoughtful design supports brand identity, seasonal ranges, and business growth.

White Label Design with Scents and Serenity (Updated 2025)

Working on white label design behind the scenes with clients is one of my favourite things to do. It’s about taking the client’s vision, elevating it with design expertise, and delivering production-ready artwork which is completely aligned with their brand.

In this case study, I’m sharing how I collaborated with Scents and Serenity, an independent home fragrance brand, on both their core brand packaging and a seasonal white-label Christmas collection.

I knew the packaging design aspect of Scents & Serenity was in safe hands as soon as I had my first consultation with Lauren.

From start to finish Lauren made an inspirational and fun experience. It was great to see Lauren get excited about my products and apply her wealth of art and design knowledge to fit my brand.

I will look no further for all my design needs; thank you Lauren.

About the client - Scents and Serenity

Scents and Serenity is a wellness-inspired brand offering home fragrance products such as reed diffusers, room sprays, and candles. Their aesthetic is calm, elegant, and rooted in the idea of creating little moments of serenity in everyday life.

When they approached me, they needed white label packaging that reflected their ethos – sophisticated, professional, and ready to sit proudly in your home.

Developing the white label brand packaging

We began by exploring the brand identity through mood boards and visual research. The goal was to capture their calming aesthetic whilst ensuring the packaging would stand out against competitors.

The design process

By focussing on clean layouts and a serene design language, we developed packaging that perfectly represented the brand.

White label design for Christmas

One of the advantages of working with me is flexibility. I can step into a white label design role, creating collections that feel seamless within an existing brand identity.

For Scents and Serenity’s Christmas range, I created a festive extension of their packaging, carefully balancing seasonal motifs with the established brand style.

This project highlighted the value of strong white label design:

FAQs

White label packaging design means working behind the scenes to create products or artwork that a client presents entirely under their own brand. It’s ideal for businesses that want professional design without hiring in-house.

Seasonal packaging, like Christmas editions, gives products a fresh look and encourages repeat purchases. It also helps brands stay relevant and aligned with customer expectations throughout the year.

Not at all. Whilst this case study focusses on a home fragrance brand, I design across interiors, stationery, and giftware. I’m adaptable to any small business needing production-ready surface or packaging design.
